This Valley located in the USA, California is reputed to be one of the hottest places in the world. In summer the average day temperature is above 40°C and even at night it rarely drops below 30°С. In 1917 the highest possible diurnal mean temperature did not drop below 48,9°C for 43 days, from the 6th of July to the 17th of August. In 1913 in Death Valley the record heat was recorded — 56,7°C.
Marble Bar, Western Australia
Australian record temperature was set up in a town called Marble Bar. It is 49,2°C. One more record was reported there: air temperature did not drop below 37,8° С for 160 days, from October 31, 1923 to April 7, 1924. And in 1946 in Wyndham in Western Australia the temperature was above 32° С for 33 days.
Dallol, Ethiopia
From 1960 to 1966 the average annual temperature was 34,4° С in Dallol, an Ethiopian town. Thus, the record of the average annual temperature was set for a six-year period. The drop in temperature is not typical for this country. So it was very hot in Dallol for six years even in a cool season.
