AKADO is the seventh-biggest provider in Russia and second-most-popular in Moscow. In May, 2009 it served 615 thousand subscribers; it made up 6,5% of the Russian bandwidth market. It is the biggest telecoms operator n Siberia and ninth-biggest provider in Russia. It traces back its history to 1919 but the modern name the company got only in 2002. In May, 2009 the operator had 433,5 thousand clients; it made up 4,6% of the Russian bandwidth market.

10. Southern Telecommunication Company

It is the biggest telecoms operator in the Southern federal district and tenth-biggest provider in Russia. The company was founded in 2001. In May, 2009 it had 402 thousand subscribers; it made up 4,3% of the Russian bandwidth market.
